Anthony Murphy has been providing will and notary public services in the Isle of Man since January 2002, including certification of documents, witnessing signatures, certification of packs of documents, and other special notarial services.
Based on detailed instructions, often including documentation received from clients, our services are provided by appointment at your home or office, or at our office. Urgent certification can be delivered elsewhere and outside office hours by appointment.
Your data, privacy, and confidentiality
We protect your data, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. All information provided by clients, and third parties via clients, is used only as required for the notarial services we offer, including for invoicing fees. We retain information only as long as necessary to deliver the services, and always keep it private and confidential. Please see link for full privacy details.
Limitation of professional liability
Our professional liability is limited to the fees charged for each service. Special liability exceeding the fees limit can be arranged, and agreed in writing, on a case by case basis. Third parties accrue no rights from the services we offer, and liability is limited to the client, whether a private client or licensed corporate service provider.
Complaints
Any complaints should be addressed in the first instance to Anthony at anthony@notaryservices.im, or by calling 07624 314556. If a complaint is not resolved within 14 days, the Law Society Conciliation process gives both parties the opportunity to discuss the complaint and hopefully agree a resolution. It is a free service, and the Society cannot make a finding against an advocate or award you compensation. Conciliation is delivered by Ian Cochrane, who is engaged by the Law Society but independent of it.
These terms of business are made in terms of the law of the Isle of Man, and any disputes shall be decided by the Isle of Man Courts. If any one of these terms is found by any competent authority to be unenforceable, then the remaining terms shall stand.
