Making a will is one of life’s necessities. Having your will professionally prepared and witnessed gives you and your family peace of mind, giving you the assurance and confidence that your wishes will be fully and effectively carried out. We can incorporate any simple subsequent changes to your will with a codicil, which means you will not need a whole new will.
We also offer estate administration and probate support for executors. Probate is required for bank accounts where deposits exceed a minimum limit, and when administering real estate. Probate is administered by the General Registry within the Isle of Man Courts of Justice and may be required if the estate is more than £5,000.
We can also safely and securely store a Notarised copy of your will for easy access should you misplace or be unable to access the original.

How much does it cost to make a will?
The cost will vary depending on the size of your estate and how complex your wishes are. A simple will may cost as little as £125 – £200. A more complex will, for example one that contains instructions regarding minors inheriting and trusts, can cost more and the costs of which will be agreed at the outset.
Is a UK will valid on the Isle of Man?
Most lawyers advise separate wills for UK and other foreign assets and a will for Isle of Man assets

You can write your own will, but timely professional advice will help avoid possible costly misunderstandings and delays, caused by a failure to observe legal formalities.
How quickly can my will be written?
Depending on the complexity of your estate, a simple will can be written and ready for approval within a week. More complex wills will take longer but we offer an efficient and prompt service and regular communication with our clients.
